This is a one-day, skills-based course that develops essential skills in assessing the cardiovascular status of patients in primary or secondary care.

Explanation and practice is given for all skills taught throughout the day.

Course content:

- Blood pressure measurement

- Accurate recording of cardiovascular observations

- ECG electrode placement and recording
