Online bookings are accepted using the Paypal™ secure electronic transaction system. All transactions using this system are subject to Paypal™ terms and conditions, which are found on their website (www.paypal.com).
Charter Education Ltd may assist with any complaint or investigation into a transaction with Charter Education Ltd, but cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred through the uses of the Paypal™ system.
Course delegate places will be secured upon receipt of the finalised transaction notification from Paypal™.
Payment by cheque is accepted subject to the following:
- Reservation of the course place is made only once funds have been cleared.
- Charter Education Ltd reserves the right to refuse payment by cheque within 5 working days of the event date.
- Payment by cheque on the day of the event is not accepted.
- In the event of a cheque being refused by the issuing bank, Charter Education Ltd reserves the right to refuse cheque payment by that individual for future events.
Cancellation of course delegate place by the delegate, maybe subject to an administration fee as follows:
- Cancellation by the delegate within 7 working days of the event date will not qualify for a refund. The booked place may be transferred to another delegate for the same event, or the booking may be transferred to another event of an equivalent cost subject to a £20 administration fee.
In such cases, Charter Education Ltd must be notified prior to the date of the event of any change or cancellation.
Transferring the booking to an alternative course is subject to the availability of places, settlement of difference in course fees and is at the discretion of Charter Education Ltd.
Failure to attend an event will not qualify the delegate for transfer of course or refund.
- Cancellation by the delegate within 2 calendar months (but not within 7 working days) of the event date entitles the delegate to a 75% refund of the course fee. Alternately, the course place may be deferred to a later event, to another event of the equivalent value or to another delegate, subject to a £20 administration fee.
In such cases, Charter Education Ltd must be notified immediately of any change or cancellation.
In the event that a course is cancelled by Charter Education Ltd, all delegates will be offered an alternative date for the same course under the same conditions, and where possible, at the same event location.
The delegate retains the right to a full refund should the alternative arrangements be unsuitable. The delegate’s statutory rights are unaffected.
Course location and/ or speaker/s may change at short notice. In such cases, Charter Education Ltd will inform all delegates of such changes.
Delegates are responsible for their own property and safety at the event venue. Safety and security instructions will be given by the speaker at the beginning of each event. Delegates are expected to comply with all local safety and security procedures at all times. Charter Education Ltd claims no liability to damage or loss to property or person at event venues.
